With a captivating blend of talent and resilience, J Edwards is a dynamic musician based in Honolulu, Hawaii, whose journey through the world of music began as a healing force during his childhood battle with leukemia. His love for music arose as a source of comfort during this challenging time, where playing the ukulele provided solace and inspiration. As he grew, J expanded his skills to include the keyboard and guitar. He also became a lead singer for the band Local Uprising, contributing to the release of two EPs that are now available on various music streaming platforms.
J's musical style features acoustic mashups of throwback hits and popular songs from the 2000s and other decades, making his performances engaging and nostalgic. His talent has taken him beyond Hawaii, allowing him to perform at special and private events as far away as Australia.
